A19 Mud Hole
Submitted by Anonymous on 17 August, 2010 - 12:32 Description of the locationNext to the A19 between Thornaby & Middlesbrough (soundbound) there is a rather silted up mud hole that once carryied any wash off from the beck in the woods on the other side of the road (in Thornaby) there is a water tunnel that lays underneath the A19 but Isn't open so you can't get into it.
The Hole hole is 8ft by 15ft and is around a ft deep in places so you will get stuck ( I did ) Its location is private and off the beaten track so the only means of reaching it are by a self made footpath (which you will have to fight through over grown tree's and shrubs to reach.

Barton Cliffs
Submitted by mudboy on 2 January, 2009 - 03:26 Description of the locationSome really great mud here, but unfortunately a little bit overlooked by people waking along a cliff top footpath (which is gradually eroding into the sea along the holiday chalets!). There are places where you can get muddy without being seen from the cliff top or the beach below.
