A610 Underpass off M1
I visited this Nottinghamshire location a couple of times back in 2000-2001, The front page image with for the site for many years was taken here.
Access to the site is pretty much a night time thing due to passing traffic and nearby houses. Park in the lay-by going west from the M1 (see the map) I placed there map marker directly on an underpass (full of dust, liquid mud or water depending on the rain/time of year)
To access it, after parking in the lay-by, climb through the bushes/embankment at the side of the road and climb over the fence, turn left and down the hill and you will reach the underpass, pass through the underpass and towards the lake (on the map)
