Arne Quarry
Isolated quarry near Arne, quick good thick mud, not much deeper than waist, thou was late summer, evidence that it was a lot wetter earlier in year. Few pits near center and some good pits on far west tip, worth a good look round!
Private property so usual yadda yadda own risk, cannot condone, etc etc applies.

Park at Arne Toy Museum grid ref: 973878 follow road north (on foot or bikes) climb over fence and then continue along fire road across heath for aprox 1.5k. until you reach quarry entrance.
