Holmsley (New Forest)
Really wet and muddy bogs and swamps in south west corner of New Forest
Follow path NWW from carpark along stream in valley very muddy and wet.. good fun, but watch footing! The mark is where 2 streams meet and it's really muddy and boggy, look out for roots and branches submerged in the deep stuff.
Once get to Holmsley enclosure head NE walk for a couple of k to witten pond some potentially very deep swamp mud there
