Mersey Estuary, Wigg Island, Runcorn
Muddy creek in Mersey Estuary with a nice waist-deep pool of creamy smooth liquid mud, great for full immersion wallowing - I do it in just Speedos. Even at low tide there's plenty of water nearby to wash off afterwards. Access very easy from Wigg Island Community Park. Not very private so best after dark. Check that tide is out first.
