Wareham Quarry 1
First of a batch of quarries dotted about Wareham, it's a shame I cant stick them all on the same map.
Back on trusty OS Outdoor Leisure 15
Take A351 into Wareham and turn off towards the station, at roundabout take the left after the station then the immediate left, go through the estate and fork to the right onto single lane road this is walking distance from Wareham station.
The entrance to both quarries locates at GR:905886 (the icon on map) the quarry on the north side is gradually being turned into landfill, there may be some good spots left but i doubt it. To get into the south quarry head off into the field at the bottom of the dip in the road 100m before the entrance and go over the fence, best mud is in NW corner.
