Help for new arrivals
Thanks for joining the site! here are a few tips to get the most out of the Community
- Upload A Profile Pic (Avatar) - optional, we do respect your privacy! but to get the most out of the site we recommend you do try to upload something. My Account > Edit > Picture
- Complete your Profile Details
Fill out all the fields in your profile, this will help you and other muddy guys find like-minded people. View your Profile choose the edit tab and then click on about me and likes / dislikes. Once you have completed details such as your location, favourite boots etc and saved the profile, you can click the choices you have made in your profile to find matches with people who listed the same in their profiles, e.g. people of the same age, same area or country etc. - Search for muddy friends and add them to your mudbuddies network. Use the user search to find matching keywords, or just click on a users avatar in the muddy forum (e.g. there is a pic that links to my profile at the top of this post) or follow their profile link on any one of the image gallery pages or any other content they have posted (a you see, the more you contribute to the site the more your profile will be seen)
- Have your say! You can post comments on almost anything you see on the site (there is a box below this post were you can add comments about this beginners guide) or perhaps just use the star ratings if you like or dislike an image.
- Post Post Post, Try posting an image of your boots or the mud you have played in, or write a post in the forum about a good muddy place you know you can go and play in. Some users write stories - and others really enjoy them :)
