I can offer 3 mud sites which may-or may not- be useful ! Dunnington S of Alcester near A46 offers mud & qs shallow at edge but soon get deeper!! very soft red mud which I found easily from Google map 2 Huntspill near Bridgewater on Severne Estuary-river Parret- thick clay mud at top soft neck deep mud at bottom of creek Need to go down the creek round the bend to be private 3 Lee Moor near Plymouth China clay pit-abandoned?- vast qs pond beside the factory but only usable at night Settling ponds S of site deep soft clay & reasonably quiet If anyone wants more info get in touch they are all worth a visit if you like deep soft mud Joe
