UK Muddy Places

Hi,

I'm new to this site and my usual mud spot is Canvey Island. Is there anyone else out there who would like to join me for some mudding fun... in what ever gear or no gear if you like; or being at one with nature like me....

Oi Lads is there anyone in the teesside area fancy a meet up while were having such good weather for a total slosh around in some mud ? Ive done most areas by myself and would like some company to join me trying out the billingham beck greatham creek.

Title says it all, any good mud spots? I used to know a good few spots where I used to live (Stotfold area and Biggleswade) but I want one where you can basically sink Wellington boots deep enough they fill with mud??

I appreciate any suggestions, thanks a bunch.

Hi guys,

Am in the middle of moving from Leicestershire to the north Notts/Lincs/S Yorks border.  Is there any decent mud in this area?  Am gonna be moving within easy driving distance of Lincoln, Doncaster, Barnsley, Newark etc.
Anyone fancy showing me their local 'hole' that they visit?

Hi, new here, i live in London and was wondering if anyone else here makes use of the creamy mud at low tide along the thames banks more in the city, near albert bridge for example, rather than the estury?

though we share the same love of mud my dress sence is probably not the mainstream of the forum/site as i nearly always prefer going mudding as 'Laura', me being a CD.

Thanks to the current water shortages, British Waterways have now closed a large stretch of the Leeds Liveerpool canal, from Gargrave to Wigan. The reservoirs are so low  that they've shut the flow of water off completely, and locked the lock gates.

With no water flowing in, and with the constant trickle of water from leaky locks, this means that the summit section from Barnoldswick to Barrowford could potentially drain down to a nice long muddy puddle!!!  Should be worth keeping an eye on, though it might not be very private with the towpath alongside...
