Reading Festival!
Submitted by keither on 27 August, 2010 - 15:44Just saw the news about the Reading festival and all the mud after this weeks torrential rain - and wish I was there! After going to Glastonbury again this year and the heatwave I toyed with the idea of Reading but forgot to book tickets till it was too late. Now how gutted am I!
A whole weekend of cider, great music, great atmosphere and of course lots of opportunities to don the riggers and wallow for a few days. Oh well, maybe next year.
Did anyone go from here? If so, what was it like?!

Submitted by chickenhawk on 19 June, 2010 - 09:50I was workin in the Castlefield Fanzone last nite (Friday) and one of the ladz keepin the place tidy was a well fit scally lad with a No1 crop, wearin red ovies and some black wellies with red soles (couldn't tell what make). Didn't get a chance to speak to him :-(

Mersey mud wallow?
Submitted by Anonymous on 15 June, 2010 - 21:36Anyone in Runcorn area like to join me in a wallow in the Mersey Estuary? I know a couple of places where there are deep pools of creamy-smooth liquid mud - and by deep I mean waist-deep so it's full immersion! There's always some water nearby to clean up afterwards. However I don't wear gear - I enjoy the mud in just a pair of very brief Speedos. I also know of a few squishy places on Frodsham Marshes.

Know a coupla sites int he SE near the thames. Tidal mud, soft and deep- pretty good for sinking into.
